If only I had know..... was the theme for the weekly Toastmaster meeting on April 6th. We had one of the largest meetings of the year with everyone ready for a fun and educational evening. There were several guests at our meeting. Diane R from Toast of the Valley, Vermont and Cherlyn O from Gowanstown grace us with their presence.
Audrey opened the meeting with the call to order. She told us that we should not have any regrets and we should not concern ourselves with "If I had only know". Jane was the chair for the evening. Jane kept the meeting flowing with quotes and introducing each member as a famous person.
Diane B presented the Toast. She toasted the health and safety for all Canadians. Heidy was the language enricher. She taught us the differences between "resident" and "residence"; "constituent" and "constituency. George read a motivating story from Inspire the Body and Soul Life Lessons. Audrey won table topics by telling Linda how to solve her garage door opening problem. Everyone laughed a dozen times as we heard the solutions.
