Thursday evening was full of very interesting and informative speeches by our six speechcrafters.
Lots of laughs throughout the entire meeting.
Sylvia spoke about the last ride home on that memorable Black Out, Vanessa spoke about The Battle of Food, Matt enlightened us on Difficult Births with Sheep; Susan spoke about Listen Can You Hear It and its reflection on music titles, Rich spoke about some funny Acronyms
and Royden's speech was about Saying GoodBye to Speechcraft and the friends he made at toastmasters.
Our word for the evening was MACABRE, suggesting the horror of death and decay, gruesome. Example: I've always had a somewhat macabre fascination with true life crime stories.
Please join us for the final speechcrafters presenting their speeches and graduation.
Halloween Limerick:
A big jack o lantern named Keith
Was ashamed of his big old orange teeth.
He wrapped green round his head,
Had his teeth painted red.
And now silly Keith is a wreath.
Halloween Joke:
Who did Frankenstein take to the prom?
A. His ghoul friend
What do baby ghosts wear on Halloween?
A White pillowcases.
Take care and have fun this Halloween evening and see you all next week!
