The theme presented the solution to no scheduled speakers at our June 2nd meeting.
Besides Linda D Aunt Emma joke,
Ken’s florist friars Toast & 2 Timers report,
Jane’s Ayr newspaper article on “Women’s work is never Done” 1900’s, (despite labour Saving Inventions) the current exhibit at Princeton, Ont Museum,
Linda P memory taxing Quiz &
Brian’s constructive evaluation,
George challenged us with ‘mendacity & mendacious’ which means untruthful!
Marie led the 10 of us through Table Topics with Quotations from ‘the famous’ such as Einstein, Caesar, Hitler, Mark Twain, Napoleon, Al Capone. Who said something like the following: Imagination is greater than knowledge; Don’t interrupt an enemy when he is making a mistake; Scent is remembered most or best; Wear a smile or carry a gun!
After Break, Keith refereed the Improv Games Questions only? Shake hands with emotion; Teen & parent at 3 am, & my favourite Hitchhiker.
We had a great time & you who missed out are the losers.
Hopefully, you’ll laugh & learn with us next week.
