Tall Tales, August 7, 2008

The tall tales competition was to find the best exaggerator in toastmasters.
Did it really happen? We were often wide eyed with amazement at the stories that were told.
The best and the funniest liars were there.
Jane Stoltz: Chairperson
Keith Stoltz: Is the cheapest hotel the best?
Wayne Stoltz: How to catch a varmit!
Diane Bender: Ring Bearer!
Audrey Orth: Wild West!
George Nichol: Fear Factor!
Marge Seawright: Judge and counter.
Al Seawright: Judge
All members judged the speeches as well.
Results were George Nichol First, Keith Stoltz second, Diane Bender third.

Jane asked if we were interested in performing a murder mystery this fall. She would get more information.
There will not be a regular meeting at St Paul’s on August 21, 2008. Members are encouraged to register for judges training workshop in Kitchener. We will meet at 5:30 pm at Crabby Joe’s and carpool. Let me know if you are able to go.
