Graduation Ceremony
We welcome Richard Boertien as one of our recent speechcrafters who has joined toastmasters!

Last night's meeting theme was Homonyms and everyone joined in with the fun!
Speechcraft speakers Sylvia spoke about Pushing Each Other Buttons a vivid description on communication differences between men & women. Vanessa spoke about No Thank you a humorous interaction on telemarketers. Matt spoke about Lost in the Woods, a descriptive story on one of his great danes and his line of the evening My highfalutin compass was not worth a dam.
Our word for the evening was highfalutin meaning pompous and pretentious.
Keith McCluskie spoke about “Who Are You” a humourous take on introducing oneself to people and how to remember one's name. Example: Mike the Muscle Man or Ann, Ann with the Frying Pan.
George Nichol got everyone involved with completing a story on the two head monster and using homonyms throughout the table topics session.
It was a great evening.
